• Microsoft announces Co-Pilot (8 minute view)

Microsoft is going full bore with with A.I. and many A.I. companies will have to figure out how to keep their share. A.I. is going in pretty much all of the Office 365 suite. It will be incorporated in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and more. The productivity increase this will provide is going to change the game. Currently this is being tested with 20 partners, but it will soon be available more in the coming months.

• Google, their version of Co-Pilot (9 minute view)

Google is racing to catch up to competitors in the new AI race, and has declared a “code red” to add AI tools to all its user products in a matter of months. Docs, Gmail, Sheets, and Slides are all going to see these changes. These features include the ability to generate, summarize, and brainstorm text with AI in Google Docs. Also, you will be able to generate full emails in Gmail based on users’ brief bullet points. Produce AI imagery, audio, and video to illustrate presentations in Slides. Only US-based “trusted testers” will gain access this month, with other features to be made available to the public later this year.

• Nvidia will make it possible to have your own ChatGPT (11 minute view)

Watch this and see what Nvidia has planned. NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang announced partnerships with Google, Microsoft, Oracle, and more to bring new AI, simulation, and collaboration capabilities to every industry. Huang talks about the importance AI in meeting the challenges of sustainability, generative AI, and digitalization.

Watch this video to see what ChatGPT-4 has coming. It is 40% more likely to produce factual responses over 3.5. You will be blown away when you see a hand drawn picture be used to create a simple web page with javascript. With larger uploading for learning available, see how the new model can do your taxes. Finally, the new ChatGPT-4 can now pass the bar exam in the top 1O percentile, rather than the bottom 10% like ChatGPT-3.5. ChatGPT-4 is available for ChatGPT Plus subscribers, but not with all this new functionality yet.

• Midjourney Version 5 is here (8 minute view)

Midjourney V5 is here. So, what’s the big deal? Well, expect 2X better image resolution. Also, better and more improved details. Hopefully hands will only have 5 fingers. Better prompting should produce an image closer to what you are looking for. Don’t worry those of you who love V4, that is not going anywhere you simply go to your settings (/settings) to pick the version you want to use. Watch this video to see what’s coming with this incredible text-to-image tool. If you have purchased a subscription, you are able to take part in helping MidJourney improve their product as well.

• Bing Rebooted, again (16 minute view)

Microsoft’s reboot of Bing was underwhelming to say the least. However, they have been slowly getting it to a level that will make it a more enjoyable search engine experience. News that Bing is already using ChatGPT-4 explains why some of its responses are better than ChatGPT-3.5 The number of consecutive requests is now up to 15 from 5. You still can’t use it to generate content like ChatGPT, but the chat is a nice addition to search. This video will give you a crash course how to use it to its fullest. Since Microsoft changes Bing parameter limits almost daily, these are somewhat behind, but the rest of the video is very informative.

Perplexity.ai

This incredible chrome extension will help you summarize a page you are on. Ask it anything. It could be related to where you are, what site you are on, or just about anything anywhere.

• Microsoft eclipses Google in the AI wars this week (26 minute video)

  • If you read or watch one thing this week, watch this video. The interesting content starts here (8:31)and is about 18 minutes long from there. If you prefer the whole Microsoft 55 minute event video, it is here. Everyone’s heard about Google’s Bard debacle this week costing Google almost $100B in stock devaluation. However, Microsoft’s week was considerably better with the introduction of their new Bing and Edge products that will change how the world searches and uses the internet. The new Bing experience is everything you want in a search engine. There is improved AI search, added ChatGPT answers and chat, and content creation. With Edge, their browser, they have added features like Copy.ai, and new features to generate content from any website or web tool you are using.   • Are you a content creator? Use this incredible tool to help build exciting videos directly from your phone. They leverage the power of artificial intelligence to condense more than 100 tedious and time-consuming tasks into one simple application.

  • Once thought of gimmick, transforming images to video has recently made huge strides with pioneers like D-ID and MyHeritage. Although not perfected, you will see that we are not as far as we once thought, way back in 2020.

• Boomy, doing to the music industry, what MidJourney is doing to the Art industry

  • Musicians and composers will either love or hate where this is going. Sites like Boomy are taking AI music generation to the next level. What ever style you are looking for, chances are you will find it here.

Maybe you need it to write a paragraph on any topic. Just be careful because it may not be as unique as you would want.

• MidJourney, making beautiful art with simple text

  • MidJourney is by far the best text to image site available. You will be amazed at the quality and speed. Ask it to generate an image of a man sitting on a park bench and see what it creates. The possibilities are literally endless.

• Copy.ai, changing the way we do business

  • Copy.ai is taking advantage of the OpenAI api. It takes the power of ChatGPT but hones it down to specific business use cases. For example, use it to generate ad copy for a Google ad, or use it to generate emails for a sales campaign. Think of it as an AI assistant for your every business need.
